I am a passionate crusader for de-bunking the myths and the marketing hype surrounding many of the ingredients we put into and onto our bodies!

The birth of my first child in 2004 catapulted Carmajé into existence when I began to look at 'skincare' products aimed at children. The more I learnt, the more I was horrified at what was being touted as 'nurturing' , 'gentle' , and my favourite 'non-irritating'. My Gosh! I logged onto the Toxic Chemical website and began to look at what these ingredients that I couldn't even pronounce could do to your body. It was truly frightening that some of the best selling brands on the market contained so many potentially potent toxic irritants. So, I began to look at many of the so-called 'natural' alternatives, and what I found was that many of the ingredients listed on them were not much better! It was simply a clever marketing campaign.
Hence - Carmajé was born.
Essentially, I am a Mum and a Person who is passionate about making the most out of what I have been given in life - with my skin, my body and my mind! I am committed to continually educating myself, and sharing my knowledge with my friends, my clients and team (actually anyone who'll listen!) to inspire people to be the best they can be and make informed decisions relating to their health.
