d.i.y skincare remedies

Here are some fantastic do-it-yourself skincare remedies you can try at home - straight from your fridge!!

Seaweed Mask

skin type - dehydrated
  • Cut sheets of toasted seaweed (that you use for sushi rolling) into squares.
  • Soak in water so they become soft and paste over a damp face.
  • Leave on for 15-20 minutes.  You may need to spray with a water / spritzer to avoid drying out. (Use Pure Rose Mist / Orange Blossom Toner for added nutrients)
  • When ready, peel off the pieces and rinse your face well with warm water.  Tone and Moisturise.

Seaweed is known for its moisturising and softening abilities. It is rich in many vitamins and minerals and has tissue renewal abilities.  A wonderful tonic for your skin.

Fresh parsley and mint face mask

skin type - dull and devitalised
  • Blend a handful of finely chopped parsley and mint together with a tablespoon of bio-dynamic yoghurt. (Jalna is a great brand)
  • Smooth over face and leave for 10-15 minutes.
  • Rinse face well with warm water.  Tone and Moisturise.

This mask is great for stimulating dull and tired skin.
